Finishes

Matte vs. Satin vs. Gloss Wraps

How each wrap finish looks on the road, how it is maintained, and which one suits your vehicle.

White coupe with gloss black roof and hood

Finish changes the character of a color as much as the color itself. The same grey can look sporty, understated or aggressive depending on sheen.

Gloss

Closest to paint. Reflections are crisp and color appears rich. Gloss tends to be the easiest to maintain and can hide the fact that a car is wrapped.

Satin

A soft, low sheen that catches light along body lines. Satin is popular on cars with strong design features. It should not be polished.

Matte

Flat and modern with minimal reflection. Matte makes a bold statement but needs dedicated care products and prompt cleaning.
